The role of AI in creative projects is evolving, and it’s an exciting time for content creators like myself. But I wonder—what do you think about using AI for children’s illustrations? While I’m exploring AI as a tool to enhance the visual aspect of my project, I know that many have strong feelings about how much technology should influence creative work, especially when it comes to content for children.

But here’s the exciting part: I’ve also been exploring the use of AI to assist in creating illustrations for children’s stories. This could allow us to produce high-quality artwork faster, leaving more time for crafting unique narratives and interactive experiences.

I created a quick sketch in just 5 minutes. The idea was simply to capture a concept without worrying about details or perfection—just letting the creativity flow. Even though it was a simple drawing with no technical finesse, that small creation became the seed of something much bigger, all thanks to AI.

Some questions I’d love to hear your thoughts on:

1. Do you believe AI can add value to children’s illustrations, or do you prefer more traditional, hand-drawn styles?

2. How important do you think it is for characters to feel ‘human-made’ versus generated by technology?

3. If AI allows creators to focus more on storytelling, does that outweigh the concerns about losing the personal touch?

I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments! Let’s open up a conversation about the future of children’s content creation and how AI might play a role in shaping the stories we tell.
